Dragon Age Legends LIVES!

Back when I was playing Facebook games, my favorite was Dragon Age Legends, which was an actual real game! It was social in that you really needed powerful friends to help with some of the tougher encounters, but... it was really fun. It was part of EA's "2D" studio, dedicated at the time to turning out web-based supplements to their existing games -- Dragon Age 2 in this instance.
The assets were eventually turned into a similar but faster moving game, Dragon Age Legends Remix, and at some point later, I remember reading that it was to become a standalone game and no longer supported by EA or Bioware.
Not sure why I just remembered it tonight. It took awhile to hunt down a copy; I had to install Adobe Air to get it to run. But then there it was, just as I remembered.
I remember we could save our progress offline in preparation for this standalone app, but I have no idea where I would have stored that, so long ago.

I used to enjoy that too back when I was in my Dragon Age obsessed days. I should boot it up as well.
I never did much with the Remixed version. It'll be fun (or irritating) to see how they changed it.
I played Remix a couple times, but it was no longer a tactical game. I think it was more action-oriented. I'll have to look that one up, too, though I don't know if that one was released separately.
While looking around to see if I'd saved my old characters anywhere, I discovered I'd already downloaded this on my old computer back in 2012 :)
