Final Fantasy Brave Exvius update

I'd like to get as excited again about a game as I am with Brave Exvius. Horizon: Zero Dawn was amazing, but then it ended. Persona 5 is cool, but then it's going to end.
If there's something online games do well, it's provide steady streams of content to keep people interested in the game.
I don't remember what was happening when I last wrote about the game. There was all the moving thing to get ready for, then the moving to actually happen, and then the whole setting up a place to be livable, which is still ongoing.
Back when I started, 291 days ago, Chizuru, samurai and mother to ninjas Hayate and Miyumi, was the best character EVER. If I could find a friend who would lend me her katana, things would die, no problem. But I could not summon a Chizuru of my own.
Many, many months later, she finally answered my call... and she was just as wonderful as ever. She'd gotten her five and six star awakenings by then, and opened up the era of the Physical Elemental Chain.
She's not the single most powerful unit in my team, but together with her twin, she can build quick elemental chains that can be capped by a unit with a finishing attack.
Firion, the top left unit above, is the finisher. His finishing ability meshes perfectly with the Chizuru chain, and they alone can OTKO the ultimate boss of the elite version of the current event, the Floating Island.
The three Setzers in the back row are the FFVI bonus units for the event. I drew two of them in one 10+1 pull; the third is a friend unit. Setzer is fun on his own; he can chain or finish, as well as gamble on fixed damage. He works well with copies of himself. I don't have the cactuars to level the second Setzer at the moment.
The best thing about this, is that there are no five star base units in that picture. I'm not sure I had any when I did the Dark Espers event, either.
I used Snow, Minfilia, Y'shtola, and Cecil for that. (Y'shtola is a five star base, I guess, but since she was free with the FFXIV event, everyone should have her). I did use a friend Orlandeau (a five star base) to fill out the five unit mission. Point is, that I am clearing content with units that anyone could have without spending money. (Minfilia was also a free unit with the FFXIV event). Whales might be spending hundreds or thousands of dollars for the best units, but this game is still keeping itself accessible to those who do not want to spend.
I am spending, though, because even if I am not a whale that gets every five star base, I've decided I want the (somewhat more common) four star bases, like Setzer...
Because...
Setzer can, with a little luck, and a couple units to chain, OTKO boss monster currently in the game.
I just gotta try that.

I just want Setzer because he's the one critter I actually got attached to in VI. Alas, he's diligently avoiding me ...
