Harvest Moon: Light of Hope coming to Switch, PS4 and Steam this year - GameSpace.com

Harvest Moon is making its triumphant return to Nintendo consoles, as Natsume and Rising Star Games today announced Harvest Moon: Light of Hope, coming to the Switch, PS4 and PC later this year. Natsume's touting it as an SNES-styled game with deep and meaningful characters and events, which makes us think it'll look more like Stardew Valley than later 3D Harvest Moons.

A Harvest Moon game for the PS4? Yes, please! I'd love to have some relaxing farming to do from my couch. (I know that Stardew Valley came out for PS4, but I already own it in PC. So, I didn't purchase it a second time.)

Looking at this blurb, I do like the idea that this iteration will have more clear-cut goals. Don't get me wrong. I love the open style of HM, but...I'm happier when the game gives me goals. I know that I need to build X. Or, find Y. Or, whatever. I did like the way Stardew Valley did that. I was to rebuild the community center, but I could do it at my own pace.

So, if this HM gives me something akin to that, I will be super happy.
