The truth on how venture capital works. Moderated by real VCs.
Would you rather be an entrepreneur?
So, I don't know who you are, but I read in the other thread that you're a VC.
I have a theory that many VCs would rather be entrepreneurs, would you? Do you think my theory has any truth to it?

There is definitely some truth in it. I landed in this job because I enjoy investing. I always have. Outside of work, where I focus on private companies, I manage a portfolio of public stocks.
However, after spending day-in and day-out with operators, I've built up a slow itch to start a project of my own. Suffice it to say, I am actually experimenting with an idea outside of work :)
I knew it!
