We hate to break it to you guys, but the 3.5mm headphone jack is going away. Apple and Lenovo (Motorola) were just the first smartphone makers to get there, but pretty soon every other company is going to follow in their footsteps.

I could picture myself using this. I like my big headset but sometimes the long cable gets in the way. It's also very useful for iPhone users who no longer even have the option to use their old headphones.

I've been using a clip-on Bluetooth receiver for years. It was always the cheapest way to go wireless. I had a Motorola and now use this one. http://www.outdoortechnology.com/Shop/Adapt/
Nice, I like this one even better. I'm not in love with Apple's desire to remove the jack but I don't really hate it. However, I really don't like their design with the Air Pods. I'd chose a solution like this any day as I really like my over ear headphones for when I'm not walking the dog. I already have a set of Bluetooth sports headphones that I use in that scenario, but I don't like them for all-day use.
Exactly. A Bluetooth receiver and your favorite earbuds makes a compact, inexpensive, easy to wear setup. My tuis receiver actually fits in the zipper pouch that came with my Klipsch ear buds. The only real disadvantage I've found is the need to charge it. (Then that jack becomes very convenient. :)
Exactly, it's always nice to have the choice!
