Game of Thrones S6E1 Discussion

I don't a lot to discuss except, of course, the only two important things:
- Jon Snow is definitely coming back, right?
- The Red Woman....!
Anyway, I'd love to hear your analysis of the episode!

I'm really disappointed that, with seemingly every other plot thread crammed into the premiere, we didn't see anything of Bran after he was MIA for an entire season
With what was included in the premiere, I was a touch underwhelmed. Probably a victim of my own excitement and expectations.
With regards to your important discussion points:
I don't follow all the Jon Snow still being alive stuff...I think he's dead, and if he does come back, it'd be as one of those crazy-ass zombie type things, and that's not good! Then he'd have to be killed again, and that'd be sad all over again...
Anyway, I love the whole theme about all the females doing their thang. From the Red Woman/Melisandre to Sansa to even Arya (I think she's going to figure out how to kick some majah BUTT, and maybe turn into a kind of Daredevil-type person), I just can't wait to see how things start working out for them all.
Well, except Cersei. She grosses me out. I don't like her.
Ok, hopefully everyone had a chance to watch last night's episode already...because I was so surprised! I'm glad I was wrong, and all, and it seems like it's not even a scary, Pet Semetary version of Jon Snow that was brought back to life! YAY!!!
Someone needs to start an official S6E2 discussion, please. Who's gonna do it?
Can I spike the proverbial football now?!
Ok I'll kick it off with my Jon Snow comments:
I agree, totally something going on here. But I'm not 100% sure that JS is going to be reanimated. Totally possible that the talk of him coming back was based on the fact that he was seen in costume on set.
Hadn't thought of someone other than the red witch reanimating him. That'd be interesting.
I was kinda let down by last night's episode. Lot's of catch-up, not a lot of moving forward kind of plot stuff. Fingers-crossed for next week.
