Oculus Touch Controllers Improve Even More
Hands-on: Oculus Touch 2016 Prototype Brings Refinements to an Already Elegant Design
Oculus Touch won't launch until the second half of 2016, but the company continues to iterate on the impressively ergonomic VR controller. We went hands-on with their latest prototype at GDC 2016 last week. This article discusses the changes between the Touch Half Moon Prototype (mid-2015) and the latest Touch 2016 prototype.
Probably the only thing that would ever get me to consider an Oculus on-par with the Vive is their controllers. They feel great and their design is unique, where the Vive controllers are pretty much what you would expect a safe design to be.
Thankfully these won't be available until October so I can wait a while until I need to buy a second HMD. ;)

Cool! 2 speculation/opinion questions :)
They will probably sell for about $70 or $80 each, although that's me purely estimating since the Vive is about $200 more and they can't afford to overshoot the cost of the Vive. I won't be surprised if there's a package deal for two touch controllers and a second sensor for about $200, because..
room scale is technically dependent on having a second sensor. Having controllers is what really immerses the player into VR for both desk and room-scale VR though, so I imagine their push with room-scale-enabled software and hardware will certainly come alongside the release of the controllers. :)
There could actually be solid information on this elsewhere, for the record, I just haven't seen it yet.
