Klay Thompson on the Bucks not drafting him: "I thank God every day"

Klay Thompson on Bucks not drafting him: 'I thank God every day'

Back during the 2011 draft night, a complicated three-team deal paved the way for Klay Thompson to end up on the Golden State Warriors. The Sacramento Kings, Charlotte Hornets (Bobcats at the time) and Milwaukee Bucks completed this three-team deal that led to Milwaukee taking Jimmer Fredette with the 10th pick in the draft.

We are thankful too, Klay!

Can you imagine the Warriors without Klay?

    Because I cannot.

No he is such a warrior now. He does his job so well that you almost forget he's there. Until he drops 40 points.

...which he seems to be doing more often! 😊

This is the funniest thing I've seen all day. I may or may not have spewed my tea.

I thought it was hilarious too.

Of course Draymond's face freeze also made me laugh. :)

Jimmer or Klay. Can you believe that was even a discussion back then?

Reminds me of the debate over whether the Warriors should keep Steph Curry or Monte Ellis.

And how many fans thought they made the wrong choice at that time.
