What has been your "Go To" this week?
I'm finally starting to try to get back in the groove with cooking, but it has been a bit crazy bc I didn't get back from London for work until late on Sunday evening. As a result, I was not as motivated as I had hoped on Sunday.
I did a Trader Joe's run on Sunday and picked up (among many other things) grass fed burger patties, broccoli florets, trimmed asparagus, arugula, etc.
The burger patties have been a life saver! Before I throw the burger onto into a pan I season some of either broccoli or the asparagus with some EVOO + S and P and put that in the oven. They are generally done by the time my burger is done.
Quick and easy protein and veggies. Definitely nothing fancy, but better than the NYC constant delivery lifestyle.




I'm obsessed with grilled cheese sandwiches lately. For no reason. They're just so easy to make and so yummy!
We've been doing veggie cheeseburgers. They're good because they taste like some effort went into them, but actually they're quick to throw together and only require me to have a skillet on for ten minutes, which is a big deal in our no-a/c apartment!
