Dedicated to the roles and general appreciation of the actor William Fichtner: Alex Mahone, Tom Underlay, and others.
Your top five roles with Fichtner?
I figured to choose just one might be too difficult, but perhaps top five? Do fewer (or more) if you'd like, up to you. :) Feel free to add why to them if you want, or just list the roles.

1 Tom Underlay - I just really like how complex and mysterious the character is, as well as the sci-fi aspect to him. And the episode "Redemption" was very moving thanks to Fichtner's amazing performance. He was the outsider, the family man, the sheriff responsible for a whole town's safety, the visionary, and the "alien".
2. Alex Mahone - For the full range of emotions that the character had to deal with, all the physical and mental strife that he was put through, and how he swung from one end of the spectrum to the other over the course of the series.
2. The Accountant - (I intentionally typed in #2 twice because I love this character) Fichtner was so insanely comical and animated in this movie that I can't get his performance out of my mind. The head tossing, the odd sniffing (if that's what he was doing), the strange tonal infliction on his words...
3 Kent (omitting his last name :D) - Because Fichtner portrayed him as a very sweet character who was just an all-around nice guy. And he approached the role of a blind man with a lot of emotion and sensitivity.
I'll stop here or else I'll end up listing every role of Fichtner's in order of importance
