Grab Your Badge for NaBloPomo 2016
The official badge for NaBloPoMo 2016 is here! Grab it to place on your blog and show your readers you're posting every day this month. Copy the code and add it to an HTML widget block on your sidebar-and/or to each post you write daily in November.
I was just thinking about NaNoWriMo (which I did once, in 2009!) and remembered that something I did join in on a few times is NaBloPoMo or National Blog Posting Month where you post something on your blog every day.
Apparently I didn't post here on 1st November but I did post the Imzysaurs that I've made over on /imzysaurus! (I've made a new one since that post!)
So, this will be a good challenge I think, a good start to get me back into long form blogging after so many years of low attention span micro blogging on Tumblr/Twitter!
I'm also going to try to write a short fic for the /lets_grab_coffee Sillygiving prompts each day - we'll see if I can keep both up!
For today, I had to take my car in to the garage because it had a warning light about the brake pads for a while and then yesterday when I was driving home a couple of times when I braked there was a rather nasty scraping noise so I phoned the local mechanic straight away (they are within walking distance which is SO useful!) and they were able to take it in today.
It just needed the front brake pads replaced so only cost just under £120 which was not too bad, they had it done by lunch time as well!
I have had a sore throat for two days now which is kinda worrying, this is not the time for me to be getting the flu or even a cold!!
That's probably enough for today - I'll see if I can manage to talk about something interesting for the rest of November!!
Oh gonna make a NaBloPoMo tag!!

That's a nice challenge, and sounds much more doable than NaNoWriMo - was only able to join that when I was much younger and had less responsibility :p
Glad to hear your car's okay and got fixed quickly! :)
Yeah - NaNoWriMo takes so much time - I just about managed it in 2009 but I couldn't do it now!
Thanks - we're planning to replace the car in the next 4-5 months so it's not great to be spending cash replacing parts, but it's got to get through the winter at least so actually working brakes is rather important!
Absolutely! I have a cousin whose brakes gave out in midday traffic. He was able to coast along slowly behind a truck and then get to a car service station. I still don't know how he was able to do it. But good to have your brakes ready for anything :(
