Hey! I'm wolfpurplemoon, welcome to my personal blog!
One way to spend a Saturday evening!
I have a blog on Tumblr that's entirely for LGBTQ discourse and I just spent far too long arguing with a biphobic pansexual person (they are sadly common) who ended up invoking Godwin's law which I have to say is the first time that has happened in any debate I've had about the definition of bisexuality. I noped out of that discussion after that, though when I peeked back in just before coming up to bed, several people are now telling them why they are so very wrong.
It's been a while since I suffered such strong SIWOTI syndrome, the adrenaline rush is still going down and it's 1.40am and I need to be up by 7am, ugh!

I don't understand how biphobic pansexual isn't mutually exclusive
Some pansexuals have biphobic reasons for IDing as pan rather than bi, so they'll say things like bi people are just attracted to cis people or can't be attracted to non binary people. It's way too common, unfortunately.
I've read this a dozen times trying to wrap my mind around it, and the only conclusion I can come to is some people seem to actively look for reasons to hate each other.
Well there is that, sometimes it's just that they had a misconception about bisexuality that led them to think they had to ID as pan in order to include trans and non binary people in the definition, but then some just like to scream bi means two at you and compare you to a nazi for "changing the definition of words"...
Go to sleep!
💜
I did eventually but now I'm up already Zzzzzz Luckily the account I use for this bi discourse stuff is unconnected to my main Tumblr so I don't see the notifications on my phone!
Tumblr. [runs away]
Yeah that's fair 😁
