I think the thing that is laughable about this interview how articulate Ms Campbell is and how she expresses the love of the game and how she is willing to organize her life in order to be able to express herself as a hockey player. You would not hear an interview with a male player that so joyously delves into what hockey means to him and the sacrifices he has made or still makes to play the game. Perhaps in a hundred years when women are earning the big salaries that men do, interviews will fall into the same sort of tone as that of interviews with male hockey players. This was a great look into the life of an athlete. But I am not sure that it is something that is limited to Ms Campbell. I feel any player in the CWHL could have given the interview in the same manner. What role models not only for young women and girls, but young men and boys as well.
