circled this date on my calendar as soon as it was announced. subscribed to sportsnet now specifically for this (along with the all-star game) and am telling all my friends and family to watch if they have sportsnet. can you tell i'm excited and wanna see televised women's hockey on the regular?

I love your dedication (and I'm sure the league does too!)! I hope it'll be a great game.

It should be a great game. Toronto is capable of winning against anyone. Two losses against Calgary and even one win by Brampton puts Toronto in 4th place. This is a big weekend for Brampton and Toronto.

Unfortunately I am going to miss the broadcast as I will be at the game. I don't like to not be a butt in the seat when I am able to go to a Toronto game. In the past the way the schedule worked was that when Brampton was at home Toronto wasn't and vice versa. But this year most of the home games for both teams were on the same nights. So I saw far fewer games this year. In the past I had a CW game every weekend almost. This year there were just 2 weekends without a conflict. But I will record the game. I think that counts for viewership. So in effect I am doing double duty. Lol. Gotta support the league.

I believe that tv networks do a 'live' count for viewership, and then they do another count to see how many people watched the recorded show within 72 hours of recording it - so as long as you watch it within 3 days, it'll definitely count!

Good to know. I will definitely do that. Oh I also emailed CBC about broadcasting CWHL games. Time for a campaign.
