USA Hockey, women's national team strike deal, avoid worlds boycott
USA Hockey and its women's national team struck a deal to avoid a world championship boycott over a wage dispute, three days before the tournament starts. Both sides confirmed a new, four-year contract was agreed to Tuesday evening. "Our sport is the big winner today," U.S. captain Meghan Duggan said in a press release.

The USNWT have made a cute video with all the team members talking about what it means to them to be on Team USA.
They have come through a lot in the past few weeks. For the length of the video and a few seconds after I am on their side. But now I am all Go Canada beat the Yanks!!!!! After the tournament I will be able to sit down and talk about what this means to women's hockey. By the way, I wonder how I can watch the games in New Zealand and Australia? Will hockey Canada or Sportsnet be streaming the games?
Like you, my focus is now back on Canada, Canada, Canada!
According to Hannah Bevis' twitter, the NHL Network will be streaming the US/Canada game on Friday...? But beyond that, I don't know if any others are streamed. Usually they're broadcast on TSN. Check out the TSN website. Looks like they may offer streaming under the 'Live' section?
And right after I clicked the button to post my reply, I check tumblr and see that NHL.com will be streaming ALL of the Team USA games! The games will also be broadcast on the NHL Network.
But for Team Canada's games, TSN is the usual broadcaster (and hopefully the TSN website will be streaming the games?).
K thanks.
