I never thought that they would do it. This is insane. Scotland will probably leave the UK, and Northern Ireland might as well. And that's the beginning. I cannot imagine the impact on the EU. Will other countries follow suit? Will the EU federalize? Will a mainland EU city pick up London's role as a world market? If so who would it be? Amsterdam? Bern? Geneva? (Edinburgh?)
It's going to be messy for the next eighteen months or so, especially with Cameron's resignation.
