Year-End award nomination for Jay and Miles at /r/comicbooks
So reddit can be something of a minefield to navigate - but I thought this was interesting enough to at least share.
The members of /r/comicbooks spent some time in December nominating candidates for year-end awards in various categories. One such category is "Best Comics-Related Professional". My understanding is that this is both a catch-all category for creators who don't fit in the categories of writer, penciller, inker, colorist, or letterer (think editors, publishers, etc.) as well as for those whose work is about comics, such as podcasters, contributors to comics news sites or blogs, and so on.
Anyway, the finalists in the Best Comics-Related Professional category are:
- Dan DiDio
- Marie Javins
- Mark Doyle
- Jay and Miles from Jay and Miles X-Explain the X-Men
Congratulations on the co-nomination!

Update:
Coming in second to Dan DiDio is no small feat!
As someone from /r/comicbooks I want to point out that this voting is just for members of that community. We had problems last year with vote brigadiers and I would just ask that people respect that and not vote if they aren't members there too.
