Clarc was founded by architect & software engineer based in Auckland, New Zealand, who had successfully grown his architectural firm from the ground up. As the company expanded, he found himself increasingly bogged down by manual administrative tasks. Managing invoices, budgets, deadlines, and project assignments became increasingly cumbersome and time-consuming.
Beyond just manual tasks, like many architects, he often collaborated with other consultancies on behalf of his clients, a process frequently complicated by issues like document version confusion and lost emails.
They wondered why, in a world filled with advanced digital solutions like Amazon and Xero, running a consultancy remained so challenging. Inspired by this realization, Clarc was born, designed to streamline and innovate architectural administrative processes.
